The company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to lead a team in building and designing a product that customers and associates will love. The role involves improving existing applications and contributing to foundational code elements and architectural diagrams.
Requirements
- Extensive, hands-on experience with front-end technologies, especially HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and Angular (preferred), including building scalable, performant single-page applications and component-driven architectures.
- Demonstrated experience integrating Angular applications with RESTful APIs, third-party services, and backend systems.
- Familiarity with other modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with modern front-end tooling, such as npm/yarn, Webpack, and Angular CLI.
- Experience designing responsive, accessible, and intuitive user interfaces for large-scale retail or checkout systems.
- Proficient in applying modern software design patterns relevant to front-end architecture, such as state management, lazy loading, and modularization.

- Develops test suites (functional, destructive, etc) to enable success, rapid deployment of code to production
- Takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy and enthusiasm
- Helps grow junior engineers by providing guidance on modern software development frameworks, and leading technical discussions
- Notes gaps on the team and provides suggestions for changes to make the team more productive
