Requirements
- 8+ years of backend/platform engineering experience, with expertise in identity or trust systems.
- Strong knowledge of secure system design and data protection.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js, Go, Python, or TypeScript.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture for authentication, authorization, and account management systems.
- Build frameworks for consent management, secure messaging, and user protection.
- Modernize legacy systems to improve scalability, observability, and compliance.
- Partner with product, legal, and data teams to align trust & safety priorities.
- Mentor engineers and help define long-term technical standards.

- Onsite position in our San Francisco office, with a minimum of three days per week onsite: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

- Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a starting base salary of $220,700 - $268,100* , depending on location and experience, as well as company stock options.
