Poshmark is looking for a Staff Web Engineer to create web applications with a simple user interface and solid code that impacts the lives of millions of users. The role will involve implementing code at scale, rapidly rolling out changes, and measuring their impact.
Requirements
- 8 years software development experience, including at least 3 years in building easy to use, responsive web applications
- Experience in any of the following is highly desirable - Node, Vue, React, Angular, Ruby on Rails, NoSQL technologies (i.e. MongoDB), AWS.
- Skills in building web development stack.
- Understanding and designing RESTful web services.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating web application features.
- Develop a scalable, high performance and maintainable code.
- Work with web technologies built on Web, database, and caching technologies.
- Tune the performance for the web application.
- Get familiar with the existing web architecture and code base.
- Should be able to independently drive the feature development.
- Should participate in technical discussions and be able to evaluate the design and architecture of the solution to the problems.
