This role specifically addresses the need for robust software testing to ensure the quality and reliability of safety-critical medical devices and associated applications.
Requirements
- Experience writing SQL queries
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python or PowerShell
- Experience working with Linux OS file system
- Experience testing web services using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Swagger
- Monitor test automation results for assigned application
- Ensures and documents traceability from requirements to tests
- Participate in program, design and document reviews
Responsibilities
- Ability to lead the testing activities for projects and provide status on those activities
- Testing of software running on safety critical medical devices and associated applications
- Designs and reviews test plans and test cases
- Execute and maintain test plans and test cases to verify the design meets the specified requirements
- Identify and communicate risk throughout the software development lifecycle and works cross-functionally to mitigate risk
- Generate detailed defect reports for failed tests
- Development and maintenance of automated test scripts
Other
- Typically 5+ years of relevant experience required
- Proven track record performing the above Duties and Responsibilities required
- BS or MS degree or equivalent industry experience in a STEM discipline required
- Ability to read and interpret documents of advanced technical complexity.
- Ability to speak and present effectively one-on-one as well as in small and large groups of professionals including customers, clients and collaborators, both inside and outside the organization.
