Northrop Grumman is looking for experienced Low Observable / Survivability staff to work on a variety of challenging projects, specifically in Survivability Software Engineering, to develop revolutionary systems that impact people's lives around the world.
Requirements
- Experience in development of advanced matrix solver techniques
- Proficient at one or more programming language: C, C++, or FORTRAN
- Experience with software development with CUDA or OpenACC
- Expertise at one or more of following programming languages: C, C++ (C++11)
- In-depth software development experience with high performance computing platforms and concurrent programming (OpenMP and MPI)
- Experience with converting software written in FORTRAN to C/C++
- Good understanding of one or more of the following disciplines: computational electromagnetic, infrared, acoustic, and atmospheric science
Responsibilities
- Development of advanced matrix solver techniques
- Software development with CUDA or OpenACC
- Modeling and predicting electrical characteristics of materials
- Converting software written in FORTRAN to C/C++
- Developing software from physic/math model
- User interface development
- Agile development processes
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline AND 12 years of related professional/military engineering experience, OR a Master’s degree AND 8 years of related professional/military engineering experience, OR a Ph.D. AND 6 years of related professional/military engineering experience
- Ability to obtain DoD secret clearance and the ability to obtain SAP/SAR access
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions
- Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time
- Current active Secret or Top-Secret DoD access
