Arriver Software, LLC-Sharp is looking for a Staff System Architect to help shape the development of their automated driving system, understanding customer needs, performing analysis and simulation, identifying tradeoffs, deriving requirements, and documenting system architecture.
Requirements
- Experience in Feature Development in ADAS/AD Area.
- Advanced System and requirement engineering skills, with proven experience in defining solutions on system and SW levels.
- Solid understanding of ISO26262, ISO21434, ISO21448 and their application to automated driving
- Experience in SysML modeling tools like MagicDraw and Enterprise Architect
- Experience with agile methodologies in a cross-functional team is a plus.
- Professional experience with C++, Python, or similar programming languages is a plus.
- Prior experience with concept-level analysis and architecture development for systems including both machine-learning and rule-based algorithms
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define functional concepts for Automated Driving Functions.
- Work in agile teams according to SCRUM and Kanban frameworks.
- Support creation of new functional concepts and maintenance of existing functional concepts for driving functions
- Support decomposition of regulations to atomic requirements (e.g. R157) and analysis of requirement relevance to driving functions
- Ensure clear documentation for all design decisions.
- Support communication and onboarding of development teams on architecture and systems engineering process, methods, and tools and their evolution over time
- Lead definition and monitoring of architecture KPIs
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Provides supervision/guidance to other team members.
- Decision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group.
- Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information.
