Samsung is looking to enable its memory division hardware by contributing to and supporting open-source projects and internal Samsung projects related to memory management, storage, and device security.
Requirements
- Systems software development experience preferred (including operating and systems software)
- Ability to clearly communicate ideas, concepts and determine solutions leveraging open source software
Responsibilities
- Understand and contribute to Linux OS memory management, storage, and device security layers to enable device to application plumbing and optimizations
- Contribute internally and externally to key applications such as in-memory databases and AI pipelines to optimize application performance on Samsung hardware
- Debug, root cause and fix issues identified in systems software impacting Samsung memory hardware and provide internal and external documentation
- Build expertise to support teams within Samsung that are reliant on systems software strategy and expertise
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline and 10+ years experience, or a Master’s degree with 8+ years experience in a related field
