DoorDash Labs is looking to scale and optimize last-mile deliveries using autonomy by building autonomous delivery robots and other autonomy solutions from the ground up for DoorDash's core delivery platform.
Requirements
- A proven ability to mine and use data to drive technical analysis
- A working understanding of autonomy concepts and AV testing procedures
- Quantitative reasoning math skills required
- Strong familiarity with program management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet/MS Project, Google Workplace applications
Responsibilities
- Use your deep technical and data analytics skills to investigate robot fleet health and operational issues
- Initiate and drive software and hardware improvements to our delivery robot fleet and associated operations
- Work closely with members of our operations teams in the Phoenix area on a daily basis to understand pain points and opportunities for improvement
- Engage cross functionally with Hardware, Software, Firmware, Controls, Devops, Release Management and Operations
- Drive process improvements across engineering and operations
Other
- 6+ years of industry experience working in technical program management, ideally for an AV company
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to details
- A track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects and programs in a highly dynamic environment
- The desire to embrace ambiguity and the ability to organize disparate ideas into a cohesive plan
- This role is an on-site role and requires being at our Phoenix offices 5 days per week, and will include occasional travel to our SF Bay Area locations.
