Requirements
- Masters or PhD in Psychology, Survey Science/Methods, Human-Computer Interaction, Economics, Political Science, or a related field
- 10+ years of industry experience
- Experience with statistical analysis, modeling, experimental design, and survey design
- Experience with statistical analysis packages (R, Stata, SPSS, etc.)
- Experience with survey programming platforms (Confirmit, Qualtrics, etc.)
- Experience conducting in-depth interviews and foundational qualitative methods
- Familiarity with SQL
Responsibilities
- Conduct practical and impactful quantitative research on our community of hosts and guests.
- Uncover insights about users by using sophisticated and innovative methodologies, measurement strategies, experiments, and mixed-methods research.
- Partner and share insights with product teams, other insights teams, data scientists, marketers, policy managers, and executives.
- Plan and execute large-scale data collection.
- Uncover insights from qualitative and quantitative data.
- Translate insights into strategic and actionable recommendations.
- Use usability testing tools (UserTesting, dscout, outset.ai, etc.).
Other
- 10+ years of industry experience
- Strong storytelling skills, ability to bring data and insights to life in compelling ways for varied audiences
- Experience managing projects involving cross-functional teams
- This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. While the position is Remote Eligible, you must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.
