Insulet is looking for a Staff User Experience (UX) Researcher to drive research with cross-functional members of the UX, product management and marketing teams to identify new opportunities and improve our insulin delivery product experiences.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience in UX, Human Factors, or Marketing/Customer Insights with a focus on researching and developing customer-centric physical, digital, web, and/or service-based products
- Experience executing primary research with qualitative, as well as quantitative methodology and statistical analysis (e.g., Qualtrics, large-scale surveys)
- Demonstrated experience leveraging design tools (Figma, Miro, etc ...) for research
- Work well in ambiguous situations with the ability to drive research that enables business and design data-driven decision making.
- Worked in regulated medical spaces
- Experience supporting global initiatives and conducting research internationally
- Balancing diving deep with bias for action: can execute quickly
Responsibilities
- Independently lead and execute multiple user research projects simultaneously while working closely with UX leadership and cross-functional teams (including Product, Human Factors, Design, Clinical, Marketing, and Innovation)
- Responsible for research in their assigned product b, including latent customer needs, first-time use and product all digital user-facing experiences.
- Create mixed-methods research roadmap(s) by consulting with stakeholders and leadership.
- Lead and execute the UX research process, from study planning, alignment, and findings communication.
- Work closely with legal and data privacy US and international to ensure compliance
- Conduct research globally to better understand the needs of People Living With Diabetes and Health Care Providers.
- Construct polished reports and presentations, with excellent data visualization and narratives.
Other
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or related field required.
- Knowledgeable (or excited to learn) about diabetes
- Demonstrated flexibility with organizing schedule and working across time zones, within US and Europe.
- Charismatic leader who builds and maintains strong, positive cross-functional relationships throughout the organization
- Up to 20% US and international travel
