Requirements
- Experience working with data and statistics and an understanding of the communication of causality, uncertainty and statistical forecasting
- Experience conceiving, prototyping and deploying interactive projects of all sizes, from engineering foundations to frontend details
- Experience working within design tools like Figma or Adobe Creative Suite
- Demonstrated excellence in publishing data visualizations for mass audiences

- Use data and analysis to communicate our reporting stronger and more clearly
- Publish clear, compelling and imaginative data visualizations
- Help imagine and build interactive projects and applications
- Consult and advise on our use of statistics and editorial conclusions from data

- A track record of close collaboration with other journalists and technologists
- A creative approach to the news and sports, with an eye for finding novel angles and data sets in odd places
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 100% remote for candidates based in the United States or Canada, with occasional work from New York City office preferred
