At Roche, deliver new and innovative data analytics solutions to scientists across Pharma Technical Operations (PT) to achieve the company's 10-year Pharma vision, with a focus on cell and gene therapy

Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience in designing experiments (DOE), analysing complex datasets, and applying statistical methods to pharmaceutical technical development, particularly in cell and gene therapy
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with statistical techniques (e.g., linear mixed models) and tools such as R and JMP
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines (FDA, EMA)
  • Experience with machine learning and AI
  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation
  • Experience with software development and programming
  • Experience with data visualization and communication

Responsibilities

  • Provide statistical expertise and solutions to Pharma technical operations, including process development, analytical method development, commercial manufacturing and quality control for cell and gene therapy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key scientific and operational questions and define analytical approaches
  • Design and execute studies that generate reliable data to support decision-making
  • Undertake research using scientific approaches and state-of-art methodologies, including machine learning and AI, to analyze complex datasets
  • Interpret results and communicate insights clearly, translating findings into actionable business and scientific recommendations
  • Develop software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources
  • Keep current with emerging methodologies, regulatory requirements, and industry trends through continuous learning and professional engagement

Other

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or relevant field
  • Strong collaborative skills for working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Great communication skills for reporting and stakeholder liaison
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and high attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, keen on staying updated with new developments in statistics and data science
