Requirements
- At least 1 year experience in designing experiments (DOE), analysing complex datasets, and applying statistical methods to pharmaceutical technical development, particularly in cell and gene therapy
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with statistical techniques (e.g., linear mixed models) and tools such as R and JMP
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines (FDA, EMA)
- Experience with machine learning and AI
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation
- Experience with software development and programming
- Experience with data visualization and communication
Responsibilities
- Provide statistical expertise and solutions to Pharma technical operations, including process development, analytical method development, commercial manufacturing and quality control for cell and gene therapy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key scientific and operational questions and define analytical approaches
- Design and execute studies that generate reliable data to support decision-making
- Undertake research using scientific approaches and state-of-art methodologies, including machine learning and AI, to analyze complex datasets
- Interpret results and communicate insights clearly, translating findings into actionable business and scientific recommendations
- Develop software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources
- Keep current with emerging methodologies, regulatory requirements, and industry trends through continuous learning and professional engagement
Other
- Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or relevant field
- Strong collaborative skills for working in multidisciplinary teams
- Great communication skills for reporting and stakeholder liaison
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and high attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability
