Toyota is looking to build a strong talent pipeline by providing university students with meaningful, hands-on experience that can lead to future full-time employment. Interns will contribute to ongoing projects, develop technical skills, and suggest process improvements.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a full-time, accredited degree program (this includes both two-year and four-year colleges) studying in a STEM discipline or related field: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science/Data Analytics, Packaging Engineering, Mechatronics
Responsibilities
- Assist with ongoing projects by contributing to planning, research, and execution.
- Gain proficiency in tools and technologies used at Toyota such as programing languages, data visualization platforms, or manufacturing systems.
- Observe current practices and suggest improvements.
- Support implementation of new methods.
- Support Toyota’s efforts in areas like carbon neutrality and vehicle development by participating in testing or process improvement

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have the right to work in the United States and not require Toyota sponsorship for immigration-related employment (e.g., H-1B, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, TN, or F-1 OPT extension) now or in the future
- Minimum GPA of 2.7 or higher
- Must have completed at least one full academic year at a two- or four-year college or university post-high school (sophomore standing or above)
