Lowe's is looking to improve facilities support across its 1,700+ locations by gaining valuable experience supporting the day-to-day operations that ensure stores remain safe, functional, and customer-ready. This involves assisting in coordinating maintenance requests, tracking vendor activity, and analyzing store-level data.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc) and data analytics.
  • Foundational knowledge of SQL and databases, and ability to write simple queries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with curiosity to explore data.
  • Comfort working with data and learning internal platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop dashboards and reports that support internal business teams, with a focus on creating clear, actionable insights for non-technical users.
  • Query and transform data from multiple sources, and gain experience building efficient ETL pipelines that prepare datasets for reporting and analysis.
  • Explore automation tools to streamline repetitive reporting or data prep tasks, building small-scale solutions that reduce manual effort.
  • Understand the operational areas supported and practice translating technical findings into recommendations that business stakeholders can act on.
  • Gain introductory experience with advanced analytics techniques to see how they can add value beyond standard reporting.
  • Serve as a connector between business and IT, including facilitation of requests, proposals of alternatives, and navigating organizational processes.

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field.
  • Expected graduation dates of December 2026 or May 2027.
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
  • Experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization is a plus.
  • Drive innovation with fresh perspectives and an eagerness to learn.
