Microsoft Federal organization needs to address the unique mission, legal/regulatory requirements, and procurement rules and processes of the United States Government (USG) by ensuring its resources are available as needed to meet USG evolving needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 7+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, practice building, or related technical/sales/industry experience
  • 5+ years experience in digital transformation or using technology to drive customer business outcomes.
  • 4+ years experience in business consulting, consultative selling, or change management.
  • 5+ years experience leading technical, support, and/or partner teams.
  • Deep expertise and thought leadership in Microsoft's solutions, industry, and customer needs.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of products to determine feasibility of technical customer requirements requests.
  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft's product landscape, solutions, and strategy to address customer's needs.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a 'virtual Chief Technical Officer' to provide account thought leadership, leverage deep knowledge of Microsoft's solutions, industry, and customer needs, and acts as the voice of the customer, industry, and team.
  • Lead technology strategy formulation by leading alignment of customer needs and technology solutions, execution of technology strategy/digital transformation, creation of mid- to long-term technical roadmaps, and translation of customer business objectives.
  • Develop and drives opportunities, presents opportunities to the customer, and creates demand.
  • Coach peers on how to create and maintain an opportunity initiation and how to map Microsoft priorities to opportunities.
  • Lead digital transformation using corporate and cross-industry resources, and partners with line-of-business leader or senior executive to articulate the benefits of Microsoft technology over competitor solutions.
  • Help customer technical specialists sell Microsoft offerings.
  • Map technical customer requirements and business scenarios to Microsoft technology platforms.

Other

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field
  • 7+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, practice building, or related technical/sales/industry experience
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
  • Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions.
