Northern Trust is looking for interns to gain hands-on experience in high-impact teams driving enterprise transformation within the Strategic Change, Data & Digital (SCDD) division. This program aims to develop future talent by involving them in real-world projects related to product design, data governance, analytics, change management, and digital modernization.
Requirements
- You have proven analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills through course work, projects, and/ or previous internship experience
- You have an interest in and are curious to learn more about financial markets.
Responsibilities
- Work with product designers and UX researchers to improve user experiences across digital platforms.
- Support product management, agile delivery, and marketplace development for enterprise data products.
- Assist in policy development, metadata management, and data quality initiatives.
- Contribute to model development, data science projects, and business insights.
- Help manage change initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and program delivery.
- Participate in organizational design, capability modeling, and operating model transformation.
Other
- You are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree at an accredited college or university, with a major in fields such as Business Administration, Management, Change Management, Risk Management, Operations Management & Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, Psychology, Public Policy, or other related disciplines, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and Summer 2027.
- You have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- You have demonstrated leadership and teamwork through projects and/or extracurricular involvement
