Google Public Sector is looking to accelerate digital transformations in United States public sector institutions, and this role aims to create a center of excellence around cloud application development technologies to support this goal.
Requirements
- Experience in system design or one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python, etc.)
- Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers
- Experience in translating business requirements into technology solutions for customers adopting cloud solutions
- Experience in collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators and third-party developers to deliver solutions
- Experience in application or workload migration to public cloud providers such as Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform
- Programming skills in languages such as Java, C++, Python, etc.
Responsibilities
- Act as a business advisor and create a center of excellence around cloud application development technologies
- Help establish processes to drive the Service Delivery AppDev strategy in support of the business
- Manage processes to create reusable artifacts for public sector business
- Present technical materials to multiple stakeholder groups
- Engage with executives of enterprises on technical and non-technical matters
- Leverage technical expertise and customer service skills to create a quality customer experience
- Focus on ensuring the quality of customer engagements, while building relationships with stakeholders internally and externally
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
- Ability to engage with executives of enterprises on technical and non-technical matters
- Commitment to delivery and execution, leading by example to ensure customers in your region succeed
- 3 years of experience in system design or one programming language, and 3 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers
