Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of Data Models
- Extensive knowledge of Portfolio, program and project planning, development and management
- Extensive knowledge of Statistical compilation practices and techniques, data presentation techniques, and reporting procedures
- Proficient skill in Using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and experience using SharePoint, Tableau, or related data analytical platform.
- Experience with data management, program management, strategic planning or related experience.
- Experience with data visualization software.
- Experience with standard statistical tools, methods and techniques to translate data into actionable insights
Responsibilities
- Serves as an Enterprise Data Platform and Artificial Intelligence subject matter expert.
- Assists in the preparation of management reports and proposing solutions to problems such as highway name standardization and developing data literacy resources.
- Manages Strategic Planning for Expedited Data Innovation contract that analyzes data for agency use.
- Compiles, reviews, and analyzes performance data.
- Prepares data visualizations and reports that effectively convey performance and signal areas for further research.
- Uses established modeling and evaluation processes to determine the effectiveness of current activities and identify potential problem areas, including the development of new AI tools for the TxDOT environment.
- Generates routine and ad hoc reports and updates files.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
- 5 years financial analysis, data management, program management, strategic planning or related experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Travel: Yes, 10 % of the Time
