Google is looking to build data infrastructure and provide actionable insights at scale in partnership with business and the rest of the Americas Business Strategy and Operations (ABS&O) team to drive data-led growth for their Americas Large Customer Sales (LCS) and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams, empowering smarter investment decisions.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience working in data analytics, consulting, data science, engineering, or a technical operations role.
  • 1 year of experience in statistical problem-solving and analyzing data sets using SQL or comparable coding language (e.g., Python, R, Java, C++).
  • 1 year of experience with designing experiments, developing statistical models, measurement, and identifying business opportunities.
  • Experience in data analysis, with the ability to solve problems in fast-moving, and ambiguous business environments through data intuition and business acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Execute in-depth analysis across multiple data-sets (e.g., business, product adoption, operations, headcount data) to identify opportunities for growth using advanced SQL.
  • Create holistic views on investment opportunities for the business.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to translate business needs into data requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Present clear and compelling data-backed stories to executive leadership, influencing direction and business outcomes.
  • design, build, and optimize data infrastructure to deliver actionable insights at scale

Other

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Quantitative Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, etc).
  • Experience working with business, go-to-market, or strategy and operations teams.
  • Ability to effectively communicate analysis and recommendations across a wide range of non-technical audiences.
  • This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus.
