Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers is looking to solve the problem of designing and building temporary works for infrastructure projects, ensuring the success of their projects through innovative design engineers and on-site engineering and coordination support.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiar with basic structural analysis software and engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MathCAD, Navisworks, SAP2000, RISA-3D etc.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil or Architectural Engineering (with Structural emphasis) from an ABET accredited college or university.
Responsibilities
- Perform calculations and structural designs for temporary works including erection and demolition planning, formwork/falsework design, support of excavation systems, temporary bridges and crane trestles, heavy crane lift planning, Accelerated Bridge Construction techniques, personnel access and fall protection systems, marine engineering, evaluation of existing structures for construction loads, etc.
- Ensure accuracy of the design drawings

- Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil or Architectural Engineering (with Structural emphasis) from an ABET accredited college or university.
- GPA above 3.0 preferred
- Available to work full-time during the 2025 summer
