Parsons is looking for a Structural Summer Intern to join their team and perform basic to moderately difficult assignments under the direction of a degreed engineer, specifically in Structural Engineering.
Requirements
- Fundamental technical knowledge in structural engineering
- Completed typically 2+ years of studies in Civil/Structural Engineering curriculum at an accredited college or university
- Knowledge of structural analysis, structural design in concrete, steel, masonry and wood
- Perform structural engineering calculations per building codes and drawing production with Revit/BIM
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of basic to moderate engineering support assignments in Structural Engineering
- Take engineering notes, specifications, rough sketches, structural calculations, etc., and formalize them into working drawings
- Perform structural engineering calculations per building codes
- Drawing production with Revit/BIM

- Enrolled in Civil/Structural Engineering curriculum at an accredited college or university

- Bachelor's degree in progress
