Stellar Energy needs a Structural Engineering Manager to oversee the design of modular power plants, ensuring compliance with codes, performing analysis, and supporting production and project proposals.
Requirements
- Ensures that each design meets the seismic and wind load requirements of the site.
- Produces structural calculations.
- Takes full responsibility of structural design including specification compliance, coordinating with structural designers, and liaising with external structural consultants.
- Conducts pipe stress analysis and determines structural and pipe support loads
- Familiar with local and international codes and standards, regulations, and implementations.
- Familiar with design procedure and coordination with other disciplines.
- Proficient in the use of STAAD or similar structural computer software.

Other
- Manage and lead the structural design group.
- Accomplishes tasks in accordance with company procedures, specifications, standards, and any project specific requirements.
- Participates in project teams and all activities related to the development of the modular plant.
- Provides technical support to business development and marketing for bids and proposals, such as layouts, material estimates and specification review.
- Anticipated 15% travel for this position.
