Del Mar College is looking to fill a Student Assistant - Editor-in-Chief position for their student newspaper, the Foghorn News, to lead the publication.
Requirements
- Experience with a college publication or other news publication preferred.
- Graphic artist experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of AP style preferred.
- Ability to use InDesign and Photoshop programs preferred.
- Skilled in video editing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for design of Foghorn News pages.
- Write stories, shoot photos and produce videos.

- Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.
- Manage a team of volunteers and other paid student assistants.
- This is a security-sensitive position.
