Requirements
- Working knowledge of reading, writing, mathematical and computer skills as normally acquired through college courses
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows
- Ability to work independently, accurately follow directions and possess good organizational skills
- Professional interpersonal skills needed to communicate successfully with individuals either in person or on the phone
Responsibilities
- Assist with providing customer service for technology needs of employees of MyMichigan Health
- Provide assistance for various projects identified by the Directors, such as support of the budgeting and training process
- Take initiative to take on extra assignments or to assist others during periods of increased activity
- Provides clerical support as needed
- Job shadow key information technology areas including infrastructure, Epic (EMR), virtual care, and shared services
Other
- Currently enrolled 3rd year college student or equivalent work experience within Information Technology or healthcare fields
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Must be able to work independently and possess good organizational skills
- Must have professional interpersonal skills needed to communicate successfully with individuals either in person or on the phone
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, get along with others, work independently, regular and predictable attendance and ability to stay awake
