Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university
- GPA of 2.5 or above
- Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, and building controls
- Familiarity with building automation systems
- Understanding of Ameren standards and expectations
- Ability to review and update standards with the assistance of senior engineers
Responsibilities
- Attend project meetings beginning at design and provide feedback based on Ameren standards and expectations
- Review drawings and specs to ensure contracted designers are following standards
- Meet with Operations and Maintenance team to align expectations with project deliverables
- Review and update standards with the assistance of senior engineers
- Provide engineering support to Operations and Maintenance team under supervision of senior engineers
- Understand and provide support for Ameren's Building Automation System for multiple locations

- Must be a current student
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering required
- GPA of 2.5 or above required
- Ability to relocate temporarily for the co-op position, with a housing stipend available if minimum requirements are met
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
