The information security organization at Entergy Services, LLC is looking for students passionate about cyber security to gain real-world experience in information technology and operational technology environments, spanning security operations, security engineering, and vulnerability management.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity and attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures
- Basic understanding of security domains including risk management, security operations, security architecture, infrastructure security, access management and cloud security
- Scripting/automation capabilities and data analytics capabilities a plus
- Demonstration of knowledge via security compliance related internships, classes or projects
Responsibilities
- Performs tasks associated with gathering, analyzing, and documentation of data assets and data points
- Assist in the production of dashboards and reports for the data as instructed
- Assist with identification and triage of security incidents
- Assist with identification of software security patches, vulnerabilities, and threats
- Assist with ensuring documentation on incidents or requests for support is timely and accurate through our issues tracking application
- Assist in managing system access through various toolsets, as required
- Assist in the integration of data from multiple sources to draw conclusions regarding Entergy’s security posture
Other
- The culmination of the internship will require a report and presentation to senior management.

- Pursuing undergraduate or master’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Management of Information Systems (MIS), or relevant field
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is required (on a 4.0 scale)
