Houston Community College (HCC) is seeking motivated interns to join their Network Team to gain hands-on experience in managing enterprise network infrastructure throughout its complete lifecycle, including network monitoring, maintenance operations, and infrastructure transitions.
Requirements
- Understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel computer applications.
Responsibilities
- Assist with continuous network monitoring using industry-standard tools and platforms
- Support scheduled network maintenance including software updates and security patches
- Assist with migration planning for network component replacements
Other
- Currently pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering or Related field.
- 1 year experience in an office environment preferred
- Possess good written and oral communication skills.
- Able to communicate courteously and effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new technologies and tools
