The University of Virginia is seeking a motivated student intern to join their IT team and help develop solutions using Microsoft Power Platform to streamline campus processes and improve user experiences.
Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite
- Basic understanding of databases and data relationships
- Previous experience with Power Platform components
- Familiarity with SQL or other query languages
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages)
- Dataverse
- Microsoft 365 ecosystem
Responsibilities
- Power Apps Development: Design and build custom applications to streamline campus processes and improve user experiences
- Power Automate Workflows: Create automated workflows to eliminate manual tasks and integrate systems across the university
- Power BI Analytics: Develop dashboards and reports to provide data insights for decision-making
- Power Pages Development: Build external-facing portals and websites for campus community engagement
- Dataverse: Leverage Dataverse as a data source
- Technical Mentoring: Share knowledge and best practices with IT Director and team members
- Testing & Deployment: Ensure solutions meet quality standards and successfully deploy to production environments
