The Software Development & Systems Integration department at UVU is seeking a student to assist the department with maintaining and revising existing systems and providing technical assistance to users and others in IT.
Requirements
- Experience with relational database concepts, including SQL, stored procedures, and prepared statements
- Experience with Object Oriented design and programming
- Experience with Web standards and protocols
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, VUE, etc.
- Experience with code versioning techniques
- Skill in PHP, JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks, HTML,CSS, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, GitLab
Responsibilities
- Works in conjunction with Software Developers to maintain and revise existing systems
- Provides technical assistance to users as well as to others in IT
Other
- Must be a current UVU student
- The position requires up to one year of related experience or be currently enrolled in classes related to the position
- Strong customer service skills
