Lifepoint Health is looking to solve the problem of providing high-quality radiology services to patients of all ages, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, by hiring a Radiology Tech student.
Requirements
- must be classified as a second-year student in an accredited radiology program (RT, A.R.R.T)
- BLS required, or obtained during first week of hire
Responsibilities
- operates x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated positions of the body with consideration of patients age specific needs
- positions, develops films for diagnostic interpretations
- assists technologist as directed
- available for emergency on-call procedures
Other
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- must have the ability to understand, communicate and react effectively to the unique needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
- three months or less of work experience is preferred
- associate's degree level
- part-time job schedule, PRN shift
