Large-scale language models are evolving into powerful creative collaborators, and high-quality training data is needed to support studio workflows, expand access to design education, and inspire visual innovation across industries. This role aims to leverage design and art expertise to create this training data for the next generation of AI.
Requirements
- Fluency with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Procreate, or Sketch
Responsibilities
- Challenge advanced language models on topics like layout design, concept art, art direction, illustration, graphic design workflows, critique methodologies, and portfolio development
- Document every failure mode so we can harden model reasoning
- Converse with the model on real-world creative scenarios and theoretical design questions
- Verify visual literacy and conceptual clarity
- Capture reproducible error traces
- Suggest improvements to our prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
Other
- Live and breathe visual storytelling, studio practices, digital and analog techniques, color theory, composition, typography, branding, and creative direction
- Degree or equivalent experience in studio art, design, fine arts, illustration, or a related creative field is ideal
- Hands-on experience in design studios, creative agencies, or art education
- Clear, metacognitive communication—"showing your work"—is essential
