Fox Corporation is seeking a Production Technician to support the day-to-day technical operations of NY and Remote Studio locations, ensuring prompt support and maintenance of production equipment.
Requirements
- 3+ Years of hands-on technical experience in a live streaming / broadcast environment.
- Proficient understanding of production equipment and streaming protocols.
- Expert knowledge of live video production systems, specifically Tricaster and vMix.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Audio, Video, and Networking signal flows.
- In-Depth understanding of MacOS and Windows.
- Experience with audio routing, including Dante a plus.
- Ability to ‘jump-in’ and assist/operate production equipment as needed; including cameras, video switchers, routers, audio consoles, guest-connect devices, and prompter.
Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of live & recorded production workflows.
- Support both local and remote control rooms and studios.
- Setup studio gear prior to productions; including studio mics, cameras, lighting, sets, and background content.
- Assist with various other technical duties, including camera shading, audio level setting, and intercom programming during live broadcasts.
- Manage remote guests’ feeds.
- Backup the technical production team including lite work on Tricaster/vMix Systems.
- Perform maintenance on all technical systems.
