Unity Environmental University seeks to develop quantitative reasoning and foundational statistics skills-focused undergraduate courses and needs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to advise on and develop curricula.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master’s minimum) in mathematics or related field involving significant use of quantitative data skills
- Knowledge of measures of central tendency and ways to use them to describe data
- Knowledge of typical ways to represent data and strategies for developing these representations in commonly used software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
- Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with online teaching and/or distance learners is desirable
- Willingness to embrace the potential of generative AI tools to improve learning and/or workplace performance
- Understanding of best practices for supporting learner engagement in online settings
