Nationwide is seeking candidates for Analytic Engineer Intern positions to join the Enterprise Analytics Office (EAO) to transform AI/ML models into integrated solutions contributing to company success. As an Analytic Engineer intern, you will design, develop and deploy automated solutions to deliver consumable data products and actionable insights to business partners.
Requirements
- Programming with multiple programming/scripting languages (Python, R, Java, Shell)
- Writing and debugging SQL queries
- Experience with ELT/ETL development to support data science initiatives
- Knowledge of common Linux/Unix commands and functions
- Familiarity with statistical and machine learning concepts
- Understanding of data governance principles and best practices

Responsibilities

- Candidates must understand application design, programming principles, and cloud technologies with the ability to code, test, debug, optimize, document, and maintain complex application programs while being competent to work on most phases of development life-cycle with provided instruction and guidance in phases.
- Candidates should have a graduate degree in any of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Web Development, Information Technology, or related fields.
