Intuit is looking for interns to contribute to building secure software and infrastructure, assist in finding and fixing security flaws, and develop tools to streamline security operations to ensure the security of their financial technology platform.
Requirements
- Awareness of core cybersecurity concepts and common vulnerabilities.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming languages
- Experience with at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, C-Sharp, C++
- Knowledge and/or experience with at least one of the following areas: risk analysis; intelligence analysis; cyber forensics; security compliance frameworks; security governance concepts
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) or Git.
- Participation in CTF competitions, personal security projects, or open-source contributions.
- Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) programs, tools and concepts
Responsibilities
- Contribute to building secure software and infrastructure, applying best practices.
- Assist in finding and fixing security flaws in applications, systems, and networks.
- Develop scripts and tools (e.g., Python, Bash) to streamline security operations.
- Gain exposure to various cybersecurity tools, from vulnerability scanners to SIEM platforms.
- Investigate emerging cyber threats and attack techniques.
- Help create and maintain essential security documentation.

- Desire to learn and grow within a technical environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related technical field.
- A graduation date at least 4 months after the end of the internship
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the duration of the internship
- Ability to work onsite for a minimum of 3 days per week in one of the following Intuit locations: Mountain View, San Diego, New York, or Atlanta
