QTS' summer internship program aims to provide interns with hands-on experience in the data center industry, contributing to real QTS objectives related to data center construction and operations.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data analysis and budgeting.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Development team with core projects and construction process oversite.
- Perform safety walks and observations with PMs and safety team
- Provide QA observations
- Tracking RFI and talking to design engineering teams
- Aid in budget management, scheduling, and status reports for projects.
- Update development program and project status for director-level reviews.
- Support entitlement and permitting needs for assigned site projects.
Other
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar degree program as it relates to construction
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Current full-time enrollment in one of QTS’s partner institutions (listed below) or a affiliate school
