AV is looking for a Summer 2026 DevOps Engineering Intern to contribute to the development, maintenance, and optimization of their infrastructure, supporting operational and business growth objectives.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge and experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols.
- Familiarity with containerization (i.e., Docker or Podman)
- Exposure to programming and/or scripting languages such as Python, Shell, Bash, C++, Rust, or Go.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of development environments and production infrastructure.
- Collaborate with software developers to manage releases and deployments.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development and production environments.
- Participate in automating and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Contribute to the development and execution of scripts and tools to support infrastructure and application management.
- Aid in monitoring system performance and reliability, and assist with implementing new monitoring solutions.
- Support the integration and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines.
Other
- Currently enrolled and working towards a 4-year degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0 – 1 year of experience in a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
