Requirements
- Rising junior, senior or grad student enrolled in a curriculum leading to a baccalaureate or master’s degree in Engineering or Technical writing
- GPA requirement: 2.5 or higher
- Knowledge of Natural Gas systems and materials
- Familiarity with Operation and Maintenance manuals and Material Standards
- Ability to learn and understand document development and content control
- Basic understanding of the utility industry and its operations
- Ability to work with different parts and systems used in the Natural Gas system
Responsibilities
- Become familiar with the Operation and Maintenance manuals and Material Standards used in the RIE system
- Learn the different parts, fittings and pipe used in the Natural Gas system and how it all works together in the field
- Perform site visits and attend meetings with team members as needed to support department needs
- Introduction to many different parts of the business, including the Compliance Programs in the Engineering department
- Familiarization with document development through content control used to maintain documents
- Learning the importance of following up and completing assigned tasks
- Introduction to the utility industry and how different departments interact with each other

- Travel within the service territory may be required
- Possess a valid driver's license
