Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is looking for Mechanical Engineering interns to contribute to impactful projects that shape the future of aviation, providing solutions for real-world challenges in a state-of-the-art engineering environment.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following disciplines: Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering (Manufacturing), Industrial & Systems Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering
- Enrolled as a full-time student at time of application, actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or above.
- Complete their freshman year by the time the internship starts.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
- Minimum 12-14 week requirement (summer); 14-16 week requirem
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to engineering staff and contribute by completing discrete engineering tasks on schedule.
- Using company procedures, apply engineering knowledge to resolve aircraft related issues.
- Support component and full-scale aircraft prototype and test activities during the lifecycle of Gulfstream products.
- Generate and analyze miscellaneous technical test data.
- Interface with various internal organizations such as Production Engineering, Completions Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Product Support and Procurement as well as external suppliers.
- Develop knowledge of application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in assigned field of expertise.
