The Information Technology Intern will contribute to enhancing the company's digital resilience by working with cloud security and infrastructure technologies.
Requirements
- Basic scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of DNS, IP routing, VPNs, or firewall configurations.
- Exposure to virtualization platforms.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals and operating systems.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the configuration and policy management of gateways.
- Supporting secure web gateway operations including URL filtering, SSL inspection, and traffic analysis.
- Troubleshooting connectivity and access issues.
- Applying zero trust principles to segment applications and enforcing secure access controls.
- Provisioning and managing virtual machines in environments
- Monitoring and optimizing virtual machine performance across CPU, memory, disk, and network resources.
- Supporting backup and recovery operations using snapshotting and disaster recovery tools.
Other
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3.00 GPA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
