ALSAC is looking to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in finding cures and saving children by hiring a data science intern to contribute to team projects and maintain their current educational load.
Requirements
Experience with technologies and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Python are a plus
Exposure to M/L and statistical analysis is also a plus but not required
Data management and analytic skills with attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.)
Comfort in presenting to executive level team members; good communication and storytelling skills
Collaboration, organization, and time management skills
Eager to contribute & not shy about sharing thoughts with the team
Responsibilities
Guided activities: Support data-related projects by identifying user needs
collecting data
performing data analysis
visualizing insights and deliver to customer using Storytelling skills
ensuring documentation is in the enterprise data catalog as appropriate
Provide recommendations for process improvements regarding data analysis and research related to activities above
Engage cross-functional stakeholders to understand user requirements and ensure data accuracy and availability

Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college/university or May 2026 graduate
Must be 18 years of age or older
