Raytheon Technologies is seeking to invent new science by applying radical cross-disciplinary techniques to prototype systems in order to prove concept viability, specifically in the area of multi-domain system architectures
Requirements
- Classroom, project, or prior internship experience in design, simulation, analysis, and/or implementation
- Classroom, project, or prior internship experience programming in one or more modern languages (i.e. C, C++, MATLAB, Python, Bash, etc.)
- Classroom, project, or prior internship experience working with circuits and components; knowledge of how to safely solder components and use electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and analyzers
- Classroom, project, or prior internship experience with physical sensors and their electronic interfaces
- Classroom, project, or prior internship experience with signal processing fundamentals
- Classroom, project, or prior internship experience with embedded system development in a Linux environment
- Programming skills in languages such as C, C++, MATLAB, Python, Bash, etc.
Responsibilities
- Designing, analyzing, and prototyping innovative multi-domain system architectures
- Creating new algorithms and paradigms in critical areas such as positioning, navigation and timing, communication and networking, and detection and classification within extremely harsh or hostile environments
- Contributing to project teams designing, analyzing, and prototyping innovative multi-domain system architectures
- Working with extraordinarily skilled team members, from project leadership to fellow interns
- Honing oral and written presentation skills
- Applying strategies for both free form thinking and disciplined application
- Prototyping systems in order to prove concept viability
Other
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
