State Farm is looking to hire IT interns to explore new and emerging technologies, refine and expand the use of technology for employees, agents, and customers, and influence change to help deliver on its mission to protect State Farm and its policyholders.
Requirements
- Courses on or Majors in Information Systems/IT or equivalent majors including but not limited to Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, and related majors
- Experience (coursework, projects, work) in Information Security, Risk & Compliance, and Auditing
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms

- research and investigate emerging risk topics, threats, vulnerabilities, capabilities, and solution options to create/update policy and governance, technology strategies, solution architecture, and assessments.

- Ability to work on-site at one of our hub locations (Bloomington, IL or Richardson, TX) or within 180 miles of the assigned hub for the duration of the internship
- Commitment to full participation throughout the internship period with minimal schedule disruptions
- Strong desire to join State Farm post-graduation

- Summer Internship Dates: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026
- Onboarding(Bloomington, IL): May 31, 2026 - June 4, 2026
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 38.75 hours per week
- Pay: $28.00/hour.
- In addition, interns selected for our summer internship program will be eligible for a $2,000 stipend(minus applicable taxes)!
- Work Arrangement: HYBRID: Selected interns should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment. Please note that relocation benefits will not apply.
