QTS is looking for interns to assist with the design, innovation, and ongoing management of information technology (IT), operational technology (OT), and AI & analytics supporting critical infrastructure within their data centers.
Requirements
- Previous course or project work around Linux systems, basic IT infrastructure components and VMware
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for use in communicating program updates to executive level, and MS Excel to create and maintain site program & individual project budgets
- Experience with programing languages like: Python, Java, etc.
- Experience or exposure in mission critical data center facilities
- Work within a Linux environment setting up VMWares and building out other aspects of IT infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot systems and provide analysis and feedback to coworkers
- Draft up solutions based off of project findings and data pulls and work with SME on refining and delivering the solution
- Work within a Linux environment setting up VMWares and building out other aspects of IT infrastructure
Other
- Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM or Data Science field
- Must be a US Citizen
- Previous internship/co-op experience within technology industry
- Current full-time enrollment in one of QTS’s partner institutions (listed below) or a affiliate school: Auburn University, Kansas State University, Georgia State University, Southern Adventist University, Texas A&M University, University of Kansas
- The intern should have both written and oral communication skills commensurate with this level of regular communication.
