QTS Data Centers is looking to solve the problem of optimizing data center operations and asset management through the IT Asset Management Intern role.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data analysis and budgeting.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Knowledge of data center operations and asset management
- Familiarity with procurement and project cost estimates
- Understanding of technology procurement and delivery processes
- Ability to work with data interpretation, correlation, and reporting
- Knowledge of IT service management
Responsibilities
- Maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports for assigned projects.
- Develop scopes of work for design, configuration, and commissioning of new workflow or storage areas and associated assets.
- Participate in procurement and project cost estimates.
- Assist with data interpretation, correlation, and reporting.
- Work on technology procurement and delivery processes with the strategic procurement team.
- Monitor the status and availability of in-production technologies.
- Respond to break-fix issues and coordinate long-term corrective actions.
Other
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, STEM, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Previous internship or co-op experience in construction, finance, technology, HR, facilities engineering, or related industries.
