Chemical Market Analytics by OPIS (CMA) needs a summer data analyst to learn about our data infrastructure & build processes to improve the ingestion of external data.
Requirements
- Knowledge of excel, VBA and/or python
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assess our current data infrastructure to ingest energy market data
- Write modular, reusable code to liaise between external sources of data, internal tools, and databases
- Port into Python computational models built with Excel and perform maintenance on legacy VBA code as necessary
- Be prepared to work on other duties as assigned
