nCino is looking to transform financial services through intelligent innovation and needs a Product Design intern to create intuitive and impactful user experiences for their solutions
Requirements
- Familiarity with modern design tools such as Figma (preferred), with bonus points for experience in Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or other prototyping tools
- Examples of work showcasing design thinking, process, and visual skills (academic projects, personal work, or internship projects acceptable)
- Understanding of user interface design principles, typography, color theory, and layout through coursework or personal projects
- Basic knowledge of prototyping concepts and tools for creating interactive designs
- Academic exposure to user research methods, usability testing, or user-centered design principles is a plus
- Awareness of design system concepts and component-based design preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Learn and participate in the full product design process with guidance from experienced mentor
- Define, research, ideate, design, prototype, and test solutions as part of a cross-functional team
- Contribute to design solutions that enhance user experiences for financial institutions
- Be an integral member of both the design team and cross-functional product teams
- Participate in implementing design solutions that align with user needs and business goals
- Engage in research, ideation, interface design, prototyping, and testing
- Collaborate with developers to implement solutions that meet both user needs and business goals
Other
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or demonstrable design skills through portfolio)
- Current work authorization in the United States that will not require employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Willingness to work onsite at our Lehi, Utah location
- Full time availability, from May 2026 to August 2026
- Strong communication skills with ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
