SAS is looking for an intern to assist with project management in their R&D department, focusing on the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies to support high-priority business needs.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Microsoft toolkit, especially Teams

Responsibilities

  • Experience the full software development lifecycle from feature inception to delivery and maintenance from a project manager’s perspective.
  • Collaborate on a real-world program level project from project definition through to implementation.
  • Build your agile skillset by assisting with process enhancements to address high priority business needs.
  • Work directly with development teams to plan and coordinate their work
  • Partner with program and project managers in R&D to experience and better understand the project planning processes utilized at SAS, including Scrum and Kanban methods
  • Work on projects in R&D to experience the planning and delivery cycle from project initiation to release
