Kroger is looking for current college students to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced innovative environment, utilizing their education and skills to contribute to technology initiatives and revolutionize the retail industry.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, Kafka, Javascript, Springboot
  • Basic understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of core computer science concepts such as object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem-solving, and complexity analysis

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and fix software bugs.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
  • Work on both front-end and back-end development tasks.
  • Document software processes and contribute to technical documentation.
  • Complete assigned projects and tasks related to specific technology initiatives
  • Partner with associates on various projects to implement technical and corporate strategies

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university with a preferred GPA of 3.0
