Entergy Arkansas needs to develop, deliver, maintain and validate Business Unit adherence to policies and procedures, with an emphasis on safety culture, CI and teamwork environment.
Requirements
- General electrical or mechanical engineering knowledge
- Must be proficient in MS office tools - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to understand scope and objective of each assignment
- Asset Management database management
- Design software to model surveyed field configurations
- Data mining and reporting
- Detailed engineering analysis in transmission-related areas
Responsibilities
- Provides support to Distribution Engineering day-to-day tasks
- Support the Development, Delivery and Deployment of assigned Management System components to all applicable business units
- Develop and monitor observation tools, indicators and actions related to Management System compliance
- Assist or complete design of jobs that require the use of Asset Management Databases and GDT
- Performing design based on project scoping and site visits
- Utilizing design software to model surveyed field configurations
- Preparing operational one-line drawings
Other
- Must be actively pursuing a bachelors or masters in an engineering field of study
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is required (on a 4.0 scale)
- Self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills
